Soldier Front Legacy

Rules

Six of them. They apply to the account, not to a codename.

1. No cheating

No aim assistance, wall hacks, speed or damage modification, macros that play for you, or anything else that changes what the game reports about what happened. Modified clients count. This ends in a ban on the account, and a ban is not lifted because the account had items on it.

2. No abusing faults

If you find a way to duplicate items, gain SP or EXP without playing, get outside a map, or make the server do something it plainly should not, tell us. Reporting a fault is always fine. Using one, or spreading it, is not.

3. No harassment

Racial and other slurs, sexual harassment, threats, and following somebody between matches to spoil their games. Arguing about a match is normal; going after the person is not.

4. One person, one account is the norm

Extra accounts are fine. Using one to get around a ban, to stack a match, or to lose deliberately for somebody else's benefit is not, and it puts every account involved at risk.

5. Do not wreck matches on purpose

Team killing, blocking your own team, throwing rounds, and quitting repeatedly to avoid a loss. The server records forced quits, so this is visible whether or not anyone reports it.

6. Do not impersonate staff

Nobody from this project will ever ask for your password, your verification code or your reset code. Anyone who does is not staff. Pretending to be staff is itself a ban.

How this is enforced

Bans are issued by a person, carry a reason, and are recorded with who issued them and when. If you think one is wrong, appeal it — pick Appeal a ban and say what you think happened. Appeals are read by somebody other than the person who issued the ban wherever that is possible.

Staff cannot see your password, and cannot give you items, SP or EXP as compensation. If somebody offers that in exchange for anything, they are not staff.

Changes

Changes to these rules are posted in news. Nothing here is applied retroactively to punish something that was allowed when you did it.
